One week before first visit

Hi There,
Well in less than a week I will be in Germany for our first visit! :-)

My host family sent an email today. They sound like great people! Peter has been working at KSI for 30 years and his wife Barbara teaches at the local high school. I will be 15 minutes from Frankfurt. I am SOO excited!!!

I am finding it difficult to concentrate on packing at this point. I should get that done early in the week!

Tom Kennedy is teaching us the German language and I am beginning to pick it up! It is a difficult language to learn and speak, however he is a great teacher of adult learners.

I don't have pictures for this week, but will post many starting next Saturday/Sunday.

Continuing the Trip to Germany

I hope you like pictures! When we are in Germany I hope to take a lot of the castles and students. I hope that we learn enough about the culture and language that we don't make to many errors. ;-)

This article really makes me think about the future and the fun we will have learning about how to apply technology to everyday activities. We should be able to live healther and more fulfilling lives. Time will tell!

Faculty

Well the process has started and soon we will be traveling to Germany to live with our counterparts and finalize our plans for the students that will be visiting with me in March.

Since we will be going full blast, I suggest that I update this site weekly until we arrive in Germany and then Daily. :-)
